Although the idea of setting Latin melodies to house and dub was by no means a reinvention of the wheel marked interesting club music – Rey De Copa’s seminal 1992 floor filler Frontera Del Ensueno is a case in point – Gotan Project gave it a superb spin with their 2000 single Triptico. A country known for its beautiful people also has one of the highest rates of bisexual behaviour, a survey shows. Michelangelo’s Dream
In 1532, a 57 year old Michelangelo met and fell in love with a young nobleman to whom he was to dedicate his greatest drawings. Tommaso de’Cavalieri was about 40 years the artists junior and although Michelangelo spoke of it as a chaste love, he wrote passionate sonnets and effusive letters to his young lover that were infused with erotic desire. Cavalieri wrote tender letters in return and the two remained close for 32 years, until Michelangelo’s death, with Cavalieri at his side.

Oglaf may not be sexy enough to be considered porn (the creator describes the comic as a “sex comedy”), but we have to commend anyone who labels sections of their website with a “SFW!” warning (as opposed to… oh, you know). The website is currently in “teaser” mode, with a limited number of strips available (actual launch in 2009), but we have a feeling that those in search of a dirty, funny, fantasy-inspired comic would do well to keep an eye on Oglaf.
